Exaggerating the opposite of what is true. A form of lying and can be used as an excuse for lying.

Kyle:" Hey Jimmy is it cold out?"

Jimmy: "Nah dude its warm!"

Kyle: "Jimmy you're lying its freezing!"

Jimmy:"Bro I wasn't lying I was counter exaggerating"
