The state of Florida. The names comes from Florida being largely depicted in the news as being full of reckless people who collectively make the state seem to be nothing more than a zoo of rednecks on meth.

Jim moved out the the Wild East because he thought the laws of civilized society were too oppressive on his traditional views.
