Alt has many different subcultures such as: goth,emo,grunge,scene,punk , etc. Please do not call an alternative H U M A N an emO or a big iddy goth gf unless they give you permission. Some alt music artists: Simple plan , Nirvana , 3 doors down , Alice in chains, 10,000 maniacs , Radiohead , R. E. M. , Red hot chilli peppers , the 1975 , violent femmes , weezer, 30 seconds to mars , etc. You don't have to like all this music, or even any, to be alternative don't worry. Some alt fashion expla.: Alternative fashion is similar to that of punk and goth. Music is the central element, while fashion and visuals are optional. However, the label "alternative fashion" has transformed to become any fashion outside of the mainstream. When most people think of alternative fashion, they think of Punk , Goth , emo , lolita , pastel goth , kawaii , or maybe even indie fashion!Although alternative fashion is often a combination of these styles, it is not limited to them. For instance, Fairy Kei could be considered alternative fashion since it is outside the mainstream. The alternative community generally supports small artists, and this sentiment often mirrored in the fashion, with places like Etsy and small businesses being good places to shop for alternative clothes. It's basically someone who can't fit into one category, and they feel like their being pulled in different directions because they can't put their finger on what they are or want to be. It's taking two or more things and mixing them together to make a better thing that fits, like a Cocktail.

Get the Zero Alternative mug.A few unhappy endings that an audience wouldn't like that would turn Good Will Hunting from a comedy to something else are Matt Damon doesn't go to California to look for the girl, she cries inconsolable for a short while, then marries another guy, while Matt Damon stays in Boston going to Little League games long enough for Ben Affleck to follow through on his promise of killing him (a fact and not a threat in his words). Ben Affleck would think he was doing the world a favor, kind of like the Of Mice and Men story, and puts a bullet in the back of his head down by the river, dropping his body to the bottom. Another possibility Robin Williams provided was for Matt Damon to become another unabomber, perhaps he puts a bomb in the mailbox for Skylar's husband to open, but instead of him being the one to check the mail that day, Skylar is disfigured forever or killed by the bomb when she opens the mailbox, and Matt Damon has to live with that for the rest of his life. There's more possibilities than just those two that nobody explored.
An alternate Good Will Hunting ending would have been more interesting than the one the audience got.
