facebook sibling

A brother or sister who only shares their accomplishments and fun life events with you. They don’t like or love you enough to confide in you or even consider you a true friend. In fact, if you were not related, they would have nothing to do with you.

My sister is just a Facebook sibling. Everything she shares with me is all of the trips they go on and how much her husband loves her and is the perfect dad. I have to find out about the real stuff going on in her life from another family member or one of her friends.

Differs from vagebooking in that it is not done to attract sympathy or attention, but rather to provide an excuse for staying home. May also be done to corroborate a sick day from work or school.
