A Nerdge,or a Nerj as they are now called is basically anything,you can fit it into any sentence,much like dude.
This is also the name of a local talented irish band,who this word derived from.other spellings include,Nerjd.

Nerded out

To go over board about a particular subject. In doing so, causing the none nerd's eyes to glaze over....

Person 1: "Hey I played (X) videogame the other night. It was actually fun."

Nerd 1:"I absolutely love that game!" Then goes into extreme detail about said topic, while the other person just kinda stands there.... Then finally the nerd realizes what he has done saying "Sorry man, I kinda nerded out for a moment there..."
