When someone is so confident in winning a race or any other competition, that they dance in front of the finish line due to believing they'll cross it first. It is known to not end well for the "winner" as another competitor usually takes the "winner's" place right before they cross the finish line.
As a wise man once said: "winner's dance is a lie. It's the second place dance."

Joinen: "Winner's dance, colon, noun, did not win; but *did* dance. It's an activity actually. It's what you- It's a- It's a verb. It's a thing that you do. Uh, which is to not win, but to dance."

A dance that can only be preformed whilst being drunk.
Normally one goes into a half squat while thrusting hips in every general direction. The arms must be held limp in front of the body and moved in a pendulum like manner. Slow steps may also be taken to move around the dance floor.

The Morrissey dance has been around since the 1980's, it involves flailing the arms and legs in an unusual fashion, people performing the dance can be easily recognised by the trail of gladioli or daffodils they leave behind. This dance was created by Morrissey, at the time of it's creation he was the lead singer of The Smiths.
Why is that man flailing his arms about and moving in an odd fashion?
Well he's just doing the Morrissey dance.
Well he's just doing the Morrissey dance.
