(pronounced: Couple-ee Scum) Term of grudging endearment for a couple who are engaging in any form of lovey-dovey, cutsie behavior. Used as an only slightly back-handed complient.

Can also be used by a member of a couple to refer to their own behavior.

Girl #1: So Ian put together a whole little picnic for us in Central Park today, right by the pond. It was so nice!

Girl #2: Coupley Scum!

Girl #1: (Hangs head and smiles) I know, I know. We're totally coupley scum.
