A girl/guy who you hook up with a couple times and then move on. You get the term "paper cup" because you use paper cups once or twice then throw them away.

Girl- "Yeah, we hooked up at the party but I haven't heard from him since."
Friend- "You're his paper cup."

adj. scamming someone for money

Rory in the Gilmore Girls, (referencing the 1973 movie Paper Moon), says that bringing an article of clothing back to a store to return multiple times, will lead the sales clerk into believing that Rory is "paper-mooning them".
