Symptoms include a general empty feeling, an unwillingness to socialize with other humans, and a nagging suspicion that one has wasted their life. Symptoms tend to be mild and pass after a brief period of time without exposure to more anime.

Based on the Japanese word kawaii, meaning cute.

I spent my day off work watching anime for 14 hours non-stop. I had kawaiibetes by midnight, and haven't watched any anime since.
