rhubarb and tonic moment

"Rhubarb and tonic" is what the crowd says on tv during a din in the courtroom when the defendant is proclaimed guilty or innocent because it provides the best sound mix.

Judge: I find the defendant guilty.
Crowd: (general din)

Judge: Order! What are they all saying?
Dick Wolf: Your honor, I believe they are saying "rhubarb and tonic"
Director: Yes, that's what we told them to say. This is what is called a "rhubarb and tonic moment".

Chabert Moment

A colloquial expression developed from the movie Colonel Chabert. The phrase began when the inventors of the phrase became mesmerized with the French movie and began watching instead of performing there normal chores and duties. They lost a lot of productive time watching the movie and ended up making up their work the rest of the day. This expression refers to act of not doing what you are supposed to do and knowing that you will pay for it later.

I had a Chabert Moment when I watched T.V. instead of doing my homework.

Originally comes from "This Is Going to Fail", abbreviated T.I.G.F. This, of course, is similar to Thank God It's Friday. Eventually, these inevitable instants were shortened to Friday Moments.

I had a total friday moment right before Michael tried to dive into the hot tub.
