A waterbird with a broad, flat bill, webbed feet, and an affinity for swimming in ponds, lakes, and rivers. It's the animal you feed bread at the pond, often leading to the person feeding it to wonder if they’ve just contributed to an ecosystem issue, but doing it anyway because it's cute and the bread was going stale.

A term used in combat sports, particularly MMA, to describe a fighter avoiding a high-profile or challenging matchup. Inspired by UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones allegedly avoiding a fight with interim champion Tom Aspinall, this phrase is used to call out fighters who sidestep tough opponents.
"Jone Jones is Ducking Tom Aspinall because he’s scared to lose his belt to a younger, hungrier fighter."
