Boomerang gay/lesbian

A boomerang gay/lesbian 🪃 is someone who engages in flirtatious behaviour then disappears to play the field/hoe face around and then tries to come back to you like a boomerang (once they potentially feel like worthless and shitty about themselves).

It stems from a Chinese proverb 好馬不吃回頭草.

This translates into "A Good Horse Will Never Return to Graze on Grass that It Has Already Passed by." - A Chinese Proverb or similarly, “Grass isn’t always Greener”

So don’t accept that return boomerang. They lost their chance :)

Joe is such a messy boomerang gay, he’s trying to slide in my DMs again after disappearing for weeks to date/hoe around.

Boomerang Inspiration

When you are an inspiration to someone, then they end up taking your inspiration and doing something with it that inspires you in return.

When Benji decided to swim 100 laps after hearing how much swimming had benefitted me, I felt a huge sense of boomerang inspiration.
