Technology detox

When an individual suddenly (for reasons other than death, a court order or becoming the Little Prince) decides 🤔to completely eliminate their social media footprint.
When you suddenly and for long periods of time ( ie more than 8 hours when you're not sleeping) decide to stop updating your social media feed, you've gone to technology detox.

Tongue Technology

A term used my Min Yoongi aka Suga of BTS/Agustd, referenced in his song Agustd in the album of the same name.

Suga explains how he is a great fast rapper and this term hints that he is able to please with his tongue.

Hong Kong is Korean slag for a women's orgasm, using this meaning he can get you to reach your orgasm with his tongue and that he can send you to a distant location knowing he has talent in more than one way.

Munchausen Syndrome by Technology

When an IT worker, usually in a leadership role, deliberately messes up something that works well to make their job seem irreplaceable (i.e., the hero). Symptoms include front line staff and vendors running around frantically in a "sky is falling" scenario only to discover after great detective work and duress one pulled wire or misconfigured group policy, which was not that way yesterday.
"Check the cable?"

"The desk hasn't moved from this spot in ten years."

"Check it anyway."

"Well I'll be .... printer's working fine now! Fourth time this week. Peter was just here yesterday.... you thinking what i'm thinking?

Acute Technological ADD

A severe technological/informational overload that, over time, defocuses and numbs individuals such that they fail to close communication loops effectively and/or efficiently and, eventually, in acute cases, fail to respond at all.
The ding-dongs at Time Warner Cable are suffering from Acute Technological ADD. No matter what happens, they never get it right, and they rarely call me back.
