To commit suicide. Such as doing yourself in by kicking a chair out from underneath you to hang yourself.

"Yeah man, I heard Courtney basically made him kick the chair. It's a shame."

A phrase used to describe the act of quitting smoking. "Nic" is short for nicotine, the addictive chemical found in cigarettes.

"Hey man, have you noticed that John's been in a bad mood lately?"
"Leave him alone man. He's just been a little irritable since he started kicking the nics. Wanna go smoke?"

"Hey man, can I bum a smoke?"
"Sorry man, I don't have any. I'm kicking the nics."
