When a person or entity repeats the same thing over and over again unsuccessfully, expecting a positive outcome each time.

a tank rush noob getting pwned by rocket men in command and conquer 3, rather than realising the folly of their fail tactic they will continue to pump out as many tanks as possible expecting to win.
