Royal Fatigue is the feeling of exhaustion from experiencing lots of royal events within a short period of time.

For example, in the past few years in the UK, we’ve had a

Prince Philip’s Funeral
Platinum Jubilee
State Funeral
Coronation

We literally can’t be arsed with anymore royal events hence royal fatigue.

When you had to sit quietly with the dog and I quiet the 4-year-old from playing, as someone “needed time alone to process and just feel sad” about something that may or may not happen.

With regards to the military:

1) Menial duties, especially as punishment.
2) Military clothing worn when doing said menial tasks.

When we saw that our housemaids came all dressed up in military uniforms, we finally realized why they did business as "The Fatigues"
