Harris J is the winner of Awakening’s first talent contest held in 2013.
The talent contest is an international singing competition held by Awakening Records
Born in Chelsea in the heart of London, Harris J is a young British Muslim artist with Indian and Irish heritage signed to Awakening Records.
Harris J is passionate about football. At the age of 12, Harris earned himself a place in the exclusive Elite Training Club at the Chelsea Academy, receiving expert coaching over several years at the training grounds of the Chelsea FC Premier League Side.
In July 2015 Harris J graduated from the world renowned BRIT School of Performing Arts in London. Harris J has performed in charity tours in the UK and at the Mandela tribute concert in South Africa. World Music Trends have identified Harris as “an artist who will take the global Islamic music scene by storm”.
Harris J considers himself a proud Muslim and a true Brit and is now looking forward to taking his new blend of faith inspired music to the world. His debut album is due to be released in late August 2015.

Joey J Shot popped off once he first released Spaghetti Volume 1, in which he proceeded to make Spaghetti Volume 2, which showed a massive amount of support and respect from his town. He rose from the gutters of Kadi to becoming the king of Kadi. He loves a girl named Erica, also known as Chief Keef. Joey J Shot loves bullying a pussy called Garrett Leath. He will do anything for The Boys because he never switches up. Joey, however has faced some darkness in his life. His parents make him do anything they please, like he’s a 1860s slave. He holds so much frustration sometimes he will lash out at his friends. To his friends, it seems like some sort of PTSD. Deep down, his friends know that he needs something to lash out at so that’s why Joey J Shot will be playing football for his junior year at Desoto High School. Joey is always there for you, even if he’s pissed off that you threw his clothes on the roof of someone’s house.
