It's an egg shaped smartphone like device with an artificial intelligence built in and requires a chip in your hand to use so you can generate emotion based energy called E-Pulse to charge it and is mandatory in this universe. Used by nearly everyone in a dystopian overcaputalized future Japan and possibly the rest of that world. Sometimes it'll spit out Digimon which if that does that will likely get you unfairly arrested and stuck in poverty just on the base of that alone. It's possibly a thinly veiled stab at Apple and their products but taken to a cyberpunk extreme. If you are %100 perfect with no criminal records or don't go against it's advice you'll get to live in a high tech domed city called Shangri-La Egg, where you basically have total conformity and allegiance to the Sapotama brand.
