The worst EDM genre to have ever existed. It's not even music, it's just a bunch of harsh 808 drum samples accompanied with that annoying AF "tic-tic-tic-tic" semiquaver hi-hat pattern. Even hip hop (old school rap) sounds miles better than this POS genre.

So I was studying at the library and then suddenly this ghetto dude who reeks of weed sits near me with his earphones blasting out obnoxious trap music. Couldn't study from all that cacophony.

High School Musical Syndrome

Feeling that kicks in when a girl watches some romantic movie, usually Disney like High School Musical. Girl gets romantic vibes on the perfect romantic guys in the movie that do romantic stuff to show their love. After seeing it, girl starts to judge her own relationship or loses interest on normal real guys, because reality seems way too simple to the new high standards caused by a movie. Also -- HSM Syndrome.

"Why won't he drive his way to my house in the middle of the night, because that would be just so freaking romantic, but nooooo guys are just way too "lazy"!"

Unlike contemporary R&B, pop and electronic, it uses soft acoustic sounds mainly, and drumming on rare occasions. We can say that the opposite of children's music is rap-metal. Rap-metal is a fusion genre that combines either hip hop or rap with any metal genre (funeral doom, black metal, doom metal, death metal, heavy metal, etc.)

In nursery, we mainly play children's music.
