Derived from the terms ghetto and metaphorically speaking The term is used to describe the use of a ghetto phrase or word in speech. This phrase or word often does not mean the original definition, but rather another implied meaning.

2. (adj.) (v.)
Used when explaining your speech patterns to an individual with no ghetto background or knowledge.

3. (v.)
When making a reference to a ghetto phrase not normally used in your personal patterns of speech.

A combination of ghetto and citizen that is used as a disparaging remark towards an individual of low socioeconomic means or status. Typically associated with alcoholism, drug addiction, and poor hygiene.
"Get yourself cleaned up before school, Frank. You smell of weed and 'Nati and could be mistaken for a ghettizen like the bum begging outside the grocery store."

A phrase commonly used by Purdue students to describe something that is extremely fabulous and trashy. This phrase can most often be heard coming out of Anthony Covarrubias' mouth.
