A “cold tea” is a British expression that is said to say if something is positive or negative.
If something is a “hot tea” then it’s positive. However if something is negative then it is a “cold tea.”

Get the teamug. The wave of tea, usually herbal, caused by the strung tea bag dropping from the top side of the mug to the lower side during tilting. The resulting tidal wave of tea is hot and can both surprise and burn the victim, although the phenomenon usually occurs towards the end of the drink when temperatures are cooler but tilt angles are higher.
