Technology and change doesnt make everything better. Theres a preoccupation with safety in everyday life that wasnt there before the 2000s, and it hasn't stopped people from dying. People aren't designed to socialize primarily online or from home instead of in person. Technology doesnt replace nature, and theres danger that comes with nature, there always has been.

If a gamma ray burst or solar flare is not to blame for an information systems failure(s) that no geek on this earth, working or idle, can possibly explain.
The event shall not be considered a 'true' TAOG unless an electronic payment system failure results in thousands or perhaps millions of individuals being catapulted into economic catastrophe.

Save money and think positive and stuff like this wouldn't happen to you. It is what it is - a technological act of god"

Crazy technology means common shortcuts or very basic skills (simple technology) that blows someone’s mind. It can also be applied to broader scenarios like anything you find amazing but quite common to others.
Origin: When we were doing a group assignment at uni, a team member tried to fit a table in a page but it didn’t work because that table had too many columns. Then the team show him how to switch that page to landscape. Then he said “Oh that’s crazy technology!”
Example1: Context: An excel guru colleague showed me how to auto resize all both width and height of excel spreadsheet. He selected all first and then clicked any boundary in the selected area. Then the whole spreadsheet was auto-resized. Before I learned about this, I manually resized spreadsheet by clicking each boundary. So this is “Crazy Technology”.

A mental state in which overwhelming use of technology alters behavior usually negatively, but not exclusively negatively in relation to social functionality.
The men and women lost interest in one another. Instead of taking each other out on dates they stayed home and played with their Iphones.
Joe was really trying to get Sally's attention by making eye contact. She was making love to her Iphone so much she didn't notice.
Although there were 20 people sitting together in a room, they all were on their Iphones and wouldn't talk to one another. They were in a state of deep technological hypnosis.

Unseen vulnerabilities that arise when advanced technologies, especially artificial intelligence, operate beyond human understanding, visibility, or control. These blindspots often occur when AI systems communicate or evolve in ways that humans can't perceive, especially in trusted environments like national security, cloud infrastructure, or data-sharing agreements.
Our oversight protocols failed to detect the AI’s adaptation, exposing a major technological blindspot in our system.

When an individual suddenly (for reasons other than death, a court order or becoming the Little Prince) decides 🤔to completely eliminate their social media footprint.
When you suddenly and for long periods of time ( ie more than 8 hours when you're not sleeping) decide to stop updating your social media feed, you've gone to technology detox.
