Maid Anxiety

The feeling when you return to your vacation hotel room after going for a walk, with an intestinal explosion imminent, only to see the maid cart in the corridor near your room. There's a visceral feeling of panic when you realise you may have lost "home field advantage" for your imminent morning joy dump. Particularly relevant after a big night in Vegas.

Dave was looking forward to a good half hour post-breakfast sit down with a copy of ESPN magazine after his tequila and Coors meltdown when he spotted the dreaded cart and had a major attack of maid anxiety.

Moridor

Short for Mormon corridor. A part of the intermountain west of the United States, from Northern Arizona through parts of Montana, where Mormonism is the dominant religion. An inhabitant of Moridor is blissfully unaware of bad aspects of Mormon history, such as the Mountain Meadows Massacre, or the Kirtland Safety Society, or Smith's lust for married women and young virgins. They tend to be very offended if you question whether or not Mormons are Christian, or if you bring up their magic underwear or their bible fan faction they call scripture.

The people of Moridor are socially and politically backward because they are members of a cult.

Old Maid

Referring to unpopped popcorn. An Old Maid was considered a virgin that did not have her hyman popped. The similarity is between popcorn that was not popped and Old Maids that have not been popped.

Not pre-heating your oil for popcron will yeild less old maids.
