slither.io moment

1. Any whimsical/common event that occurs in the popular browser game slither.io.
2. A similar phenomenon to any of such events occurring in a similar game such as Splix or PowerLine.
Examples of slither.io moments include:
A) The chaos that ensues after a very large snake dies, often lasting for several minutes as many noobies quickly get big and reach the leaderboard, then die soon after, rinse and repeat. This generally happens near the map's center.
B) When most of the leaderboard consists of angry morons caught up in the dark crevasse of mainstream US politics. Names used by such players include: "BIDEN IS A TRAITOR" "MAGAS ARE RETARDED" "SEND TRUMP TO JAIL" "TO HELL WITH THE DEMONRATS (sic)". Even if you suck at the game, you're advised to kill any such player you see. Religious names don't count.
C) A moment when a massive snake somehow dies to a tiny player who just entered the game. These little powerhouses often rise to dominate the leaderboard, and I respect them with my whole heart.
D) A moment when you are merely minding your own business and several snakes all smash into your tail at once. This is far more common in a suicidal slither knockoff (powerline.io) due to its extreme lag, but it still counts, probably.
E) In the browser version of slither.io, the network lag is infamously horrible. Often times the game completely freezes for a few seconds, and when it resumes, you discover you randomly died during your disconnection.

*gets killed by snake with 23 XP*

Shithead Duty

A statement, reprimand, or admonishment handed down to someone lower in the ranks of a work environment, mainly in the service industry or trades, especially in restaurant or bar service. Saying that they have to do the shitty work for the night. This is specially reserved for when the person is reprimanded and is doomed to serve the non-tipping customers for the night.

Nick: Eric, You showed up 20 minutes late for work. You're on shithead duty for the night. Serve table six their bread.

Eric: (Looks at the table of ten black customers) Damn, I'm not making any tips tonight. I'll never show up late to work again.

Sithereal

Sithereal (si-fe-re-all) • the feeling of eerie unsettling locations, audios, or things that can be beautiful when seen in the right view. typically takes after the after hours aesthetic. ranges from dark, foggy, expanses of railways during the blue hours mist or the bright orange and purple glow of a sunset stretching across the expanse of the ocean. origins take after the word etherel, as thats how the beauty of it is described - darkly or brightly ethereal with that unnerving hint even if the setting brings calmness. images, audios, or so on may invoke feelings of despair, loneliness, sense of existential dread, derealisation, longing for freedom, lost hope, or the eternal longing of nothing. like the cousin to liminal spaces or kenopsia. can also be used as sithereally as ethereally can be used.
