Wilhoit's Law

A definition of conservatism from a blog response by Frank Wilhoit: Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.
"Did you hear that yet another Republican politician admitted to getting his wife an abortion? But he's still opposed?" "Yeah, Wilhoit's Law. It is what it is."
