Canned Laughter

The worst invention since the A-Bomb.

Used by almost all American comedies which if you listen closely enough you can hear the winding of the laughter going round and round.

If you hear canned laughter dont expect to laugh.

Expect to be forced to laugh.

Then again the British are just as bad.

Dark Light

Not actually an oxymoron. It's the color past ultra-violet. The technical term for it is infra-black. It can be seen quite easily under experimental conditions.

To perform the dark light experiment simply select a healthy brick wall with a good runup, and, lowering your head, charge. The color that flashes in bursts behind your eyes, behind the pain, just before you die, is infra-black.

hysterical laughter

To come face to face with an epiphany moment that results in an instantaneous burst of uncontrollable laughter for a prolonged period of time.

I suppressed the thought of being pregnant while getting through final exams followed by a trip to the pharmacy. As soon as I saw the result of my pregnancy test I broke out into hysterical laughter.

light pollution

light pollution is the misuse of artificial lighting at night, where so many lamps spill light upwards so that the dark sky is no longer dark. The stars are not visible, and this causes so many horrible things, silently killing off our planet.

Johnny: "Hey, where'd the stars go?!"

Annie: "There are so many lights that shine into the sky, the beautiful night sky is hidden from our view. To reverse light pollution, people can change all lights to ones that shine their light downwards, where it is needed."
