The term "status limbo" is used to describe the uninformed state you are in, due to the fact that someone else hasn't recently updated their FaceBook status.

Jane: Hey, has Kelly had her baby yet?
Rachel: I have no idea. I think she went into hospital a few days ago, but it was a false alarm.
Jane: And you haven't had an update since?
Rachel: No - I'm in status limbo.
Jane: What the hell are to talking about?
Rachel: Kelly hasn't updated her FaceBook status.
Jane: You're kidding right?

Describes the epidemic of prescription drug abuse in the United States. As of now, there are more people addicted to prescription drugs than to illegal drugs such as cocaine or heroin.

No wonder drugs are cheaper in Canada - they don't have to put up with the Limbaugh Syndrome!
