With typical feline irony, Tiddles climbed on to the heavily allergic Juliet, even though Romeo was trying to attract the cat's attention for a cuddle.

Irony is when this website declares in its official content guidelines that "we have a zero tolerance policy for definitions that include hate speech, bullying, or statements meant to discriminate or incite violence against others" and then proceeds to approve racist definitions and post them on the website. Great job, you hypocritical pieces of shit.
There is a lot of irony in the approval of the word "Jewed" on Urban Dictionary; it shows a real lack of social intelligence and education on the part of the management team of this website.

Hyper irony is a term coined by the artist and youtuber jrEg. It is defined as the return to sincerity from irony. This means, that there are two layers of irony present. The technique is used frquently on the internet in the form of memes.
The movie, The Raven and the Seagull, portrays the post-colonial relationship between Greenland and Denmark through the over use of stereotypical Greenlandic garments and stereotypes. It sincerely conveys its message through hyper irony - it returns from irony to sincerity.

Definition: A digitally native teenager or young adult (typically 16-23) whose online persona is built on performative irony, detached humor, and carefully curated "chaotic" behavior. Irony-teens communicate primarily through layered sarcasm, absurdist memes, and meta-commentary that signals cultural literacy while maintaining emotional distance. They often adopt exaggerated personas or "bit" accounts that blur the line between genuine expression and performance art.

Jake: bro why did you send that crying soyjak meme in the main chat
Tyler: it was funny lol, just the basic "me when no vegan options" one
Jake: dude now all the irony-teens are quote tweeting it with their weird shit...
Marcus: what happened?

Tyler: what the fuck does that even mean
Marcus: bro they talk like they're having a religious experience over a basic meme
Jake: and now there's like 50 replies all talking the same way... "this would kill a victorian child" "i'm literally perishing" "why is this so unserious"
Tyler: should I delete it?
Marcus: nah fuck it, let the irony-teens have their moment. they'll move on to something else in like an hour
Jake: it's just exhausting man, like can't a soyjak just be sad without someone making it into performance art
Tyler: next time I'm just sending it in here lmao

watching videos on beating procrastination and depression while you have weeks of work and studying to catch up on
Yeah, I have a project that was due more than a week ago but instead of working on it, I flew through an unending ironi-crastination playlist of videos that are supposed to help me get control of my life back, but it's still like me in class: the words go in through one ear and out the other. :,)
