An entire generation of children born in the early 60s to early 80s, now adults in their 20s-40s. No set timeframe can be agreed upon as some claim that children actually born in the 1980s are not Gen-Xers. The traditional timeframe for Gen-Xers has been said to be 1961-1981 by sociologists but others have proposed timeframes such as 1960-1970, 1965-1975, 1965-1977, 1964-1982, 1970-1983, and 1961-1984.

Get the generation Xmug. A phenomenon where a generation of humans makes the same crippling decisions as the generation before them. Examples include: 1) having kids, because your parents, aunts, uncles and most everyone else in your family had them, most likely at an early age, thus minimizing their chance to live a life they actually wanted and now are living a life to serve their offspring. And your parents are pressuring you for grandchildren, even though you are barely making ends meet for yourself, what with working full time and being a full-time student.
2) Not saving for a retirement, rainy day, etc. Instead, you spend your money on a new pair of shoes every month, clothes, Amazon, eBay, and thinking paying $2600 for a one bedroom apartment for the rest of your life is OK. When you find yourself unemployed and broke, you lame everyone but yourself.

Sean just can't stop having kids. 28 years old and already he has 4 kids with 3 different women. This generational curse is going to leave him just like his dad: living paycheck to paycheck, making just enough to get by, trying to feed a small army of his offspring.

Get the General Motorsmug. Any person who constantly advocates for the use of Military Force against any country that might be a threat to the USA. This person always posts memes or links calling for Military force or the actual use of Military Force. Yet when questioned this person inevitably has never been in the Military or has any plans for enlisting in any branch of the Military. When asked why they have never served or or when they plan to enlist, the Keyboard General will make up all sorts of asinine excuses why they cannot enlist or did not serve. They are basically cowards hiding behind their monitor and keyboards
"... Although Jerry was all for Military intervention in the Middle East in his posts, he was nothing more then a KEYBOARD GENERAL when it came to actually serving in the Military.."

Get the Generational Ignorancemug. Generation Dead is a young adult romance/supernatural novel by Daniel Waters. I follows a girl named Phoebe and her best friends, Margi and Adam, whose world has been left baffled by a strange phenomenon...dead teenagers not staying dead. For reasons unknown, a small number of the teenage dead are returning to 'life'. They lack a heartbeat and all other traditional life-signs, but are capable of thought, movement and speech (to varying extents). They are widely feared by the living, despite the fact that they do not present a threat, but Phoebe finds herself attracted to Tommy Williams, one of the "living impaired" teens at her school.
Did you read Generation Dead? I thought that it portrayed issues of prejudice in modern day society very well.
