The act of listening to music to either improve or drop ones mood.
Listening to music to help improve your mood or drop your mood to a lower point.

You- "Hey I am a bit nervous about this dance."
Friend- "You should listen to something to calm you down then."
You- "Okay be right back, I am going to go have a Music-Boost."

brass boosa

A dance party wherein a DJ drops a record and a funky band begins to jam with the song; then once the band has a groove the DJ drops out and lets the band carry the music for a few minutes mutating as it goes. Then the DJ selects a song to match the band's feel and drops back in. It goes on like this with the band and DJ trading off until everyone is exhausted or the police come.

Much like the Bronx parties where DJ Kool Herc invented hip hop, the band and the DJ continue mixing back and forth to get the crowd worked up with no break in the music.

The term was coined in the 90's in Tallahassee, FL when a series of brass boosas were thrown at different locations around the city.

Jacuzzi butt boost

One pantless person does a hand stand against a wall. Prior to the hand stand rectal stretching is needed to create an anal cavity. Once in the hand stand position a friend fills the cavity with any brand of energy drink. A fart is required to produce a jacuzzi effect while the friend drinks the energy drink through a straw out of the anal cavity.
