Socialist Media

What modern social media has become because of the amount of censorship as part of a march toward socialism.
I posted my opinion about something on socialist media, And because they did not agree with my opinion, they censored it.

Media Strumpet

Someone who always knows where the TV cameras or other media devices are at all times and always makes sure they are noticed by them. Examples would be celebrities, politicians or sports figures. that have nothing of importance to say, but always make sure they wind up on-camera as often as they can. An individual of former importance that panders to the camera or other media devices to make sure they are seen despite their irrelevance today. Synonym: Attention Strumpet

The term strumpet originally meant a female prostitute, or a lady of "questionable" character. Media or Attention Strumpet includes members of both sexes who crave media attention
"The former vice-presidential candidate continues to inanely talk about things (s)he knows nothing of. (S)he is nothing but an attention strumpet."

" That football player is a giant media strumpet. He knows where the cameras are at all times and makes sure he is noticed by them. "

media-jack

verb. (media-jacking, media-jacked, media-jacker)
Using the term "jack" (used here as "to steal") this refers to the situation in which one person is using one medium (of entertainment or otherwise) and another person 'jacks' the other person's attention to another medium.

For example, when one person is listening to music and playing on the computer and another person puts on a movie for the first person to watch.
Person one (the "media-jacker") -"Hey watch this awesome movie!"
Person two-"Aw, dude can't it wait? I'm facebooking and got some music on."
*movie begins, audibly trumping the music and dominating the attention of person two*

media mom

A housewife whose perception of reality is derived from the news media (conservative or liberal, doesn't matter) and popular pseudoscience like Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil.

Because they have stayed indoors for many years in the age of social media and media saturation, media moms soak up the perception - however false it may be - that television creates. They may own nearly all of Dr. Oz's books, along with Dr. Phil and subscribe to Oprah Magazine. They buy many supplements and vitamins based on what Dr. Oz has said, regardless of the lack of rigor scientific evidence. They believe the world is getting worse by the minute despite the evidence of the contrary, solely because they are bombarded by negative news reports from the television on a daily basis. Lastly, media moms also tend to share or believe many false or exaggerated news articles on Facebook or other social media sites.

Media moms ultimately suffer from many cognitive biases, and they are very much set in their ways.
"My mother is such a media mom. Look how much money she wasted on vitamins because of Dr. Oz's special the other day."

Socio Media

Sociopathic behavior on social media. Mostly “normal” people with basic interpersonal communication skills in the real world who tend to lose all sense of empathy and compassion for other human beings on the internet.

While online they become sadistic bullies, full of self-righteousness; and often attempt to come up with something clever or humorous to say at somebody else’s expense without any care for the feelings or personal struggles of others.
