Get the satire spellingmug. A seemingly blasphemous statement that dog worshippers came up with. Dogs are vermin. They're unclean, unsanitary, dangerous creatures. The Bible talks about them both in a positive and a negative sense, but in those days, dog nuttery wasn't such a thing as it is now with the influences of corporations and the media.
