nerdbot

A nerdbot is derived from two words. "nerd" and "bot". When these two words are put together, they form the compound word "nerdbot". What a nerdbot essentially is, is a person with no life and plays counter-strike 24/7, only stopping for food and occasional sleep. A person who is a nerdbot knows every L337 word in the L337 dictionary and even speaks "L337" in real life situations. A nerdbot also relates every real life situation to counter-strike. Nerdbots tend to stick together, so despite what people say, they do have friends.

"WOW this guy is UB3R gay, he headshotted me with a dodgeball! A1Mb0t@!1"

nerdball

A nerd with an odd but unmistakable air of cuteness about him/her. The traits of a nerdball are the same as those of a normal nerd, but are somehow endearing instead of irksome.

Nerdball: (engrossed in playing a game on graphing calculator)

Fawning girl: Ahww, what a cute little nerdball!

get my nerd on

When needing to immerse oneself in a situation of "nerdy" people, one needs to occasionally adapt oneself to fit in. This is not necessarily a bad thing—it can be hilariously fun and inclusive, rather than having to feel like an outsider. However, it can be bad if the wrong person catches you getting your nerd on, giving them a horribly wrong impression of you (Read: dating potential).

"Man, I'm gonna' SO get my nerd on this weekend at Comic Con."

"Why is it when I go to either a Star Trek convention, Scarborough Faire, or some comic convention, I have to get my nerd on to fit in?"
