Supposed "racist" term referring to white people, because they "cracked" the whip at the slaves. So, if you think about it, its quite a positive term.

A long long time ago in South Georgia and Northern Florida Pine tar and Pine pitch were harvesed. Placed in wooden barels and loaded on to wagons destine for Savannah, Macon and Atlanta.The Wagon Masters/Drivers would crack there wips as the Oxin pulled the Heavy loads. The cracking of the Bull wips could be heard for miles around. Hence the name Georgia Crackers. PS, The Wagon Masters or drivers, were mostly men of color.

A word used to describe a person of Caucasian descent. Or A snack usually eaten with cheese. A Person who cracks. A person who discriminate againsts others. Word that white people seem to think that black people think is equal to the word nigger, but unfortuanately we dont. Its just funny to call someone a cracker.
1) Black Man: Hey man I think imma go over there and apply for a job.
Nigger: Man you know that cracker ass cracker is not gone give yo nigger ass a job
2) White Boy: Why is it everytime i take you out of the hood you at like such a nigger?
Black Nigger: I dont know.... cracker..!

Origin believed to refer to the poor white trash found living in "crackerbox" housing, built in the 1940s and 1950s, found just outside the city or making an associated reference to the salty white saltine cracker.

a word for "whitie" coming from the days of slavery, basically cause the white man would "crack" his whip.not from the word saltine cracker.but as some dont understand when a white person calls a black person a "nigger" its concidered racist but its perfectly okay for a black person to call a white person a cracker.
