The Tap Game

A very simple, yet amazingly fun game in which you, and bunch of your buddies open up a high school yearbook, and in a circular-fashion, each selects a girl in the book, and asks himself the question, "Would you tap that?" The person then reveals to the group if he would have sexual intercourse with that girl. Play passes to the left. Disagreements over particular "chicks" often lead to discussion and debate, which further adds to the entertainment.
Johnny- Let's see, Betty Sue...she has amazing tits so yeah, I would tap that.

Billy- Yeah, but Betty Sue is as ugly as shit. Mary Ann, on the other hand, is fucking gorgeous. I would most certainly tap that.

Vladimir- Isn't the tap game amazing?

gamefaqs

A site where you can read game walkthroughs, polls, and the message board, where you can chat about games and other things. Seems like a gamer's dream come true, right, WRONG!

I signed up for it, thinking it would be good, but it is horrible! This site is run by CJayC and his lackeys, the Gamefaqs moderaters. The mod's goal is to spoil the fun. There are many strict rules, you can't even say bitch. And if you say something "offensive", you are screwed! You can't even speak your mind! If you diss the mods, you are screwed!

So, if you break the rules, what happens? Well, you have a karma system. It's kinda like experience points. Post a day, you get one karma point. When you get enough karma, you can post more. Yes, you are limited to posting until 75 karma. If you break a rule, it will be deleted, and you might lose 3 karma. It's called a moderated message. Post something really bad, like dissing the mods, and you lose 10 karma and get "warned."

Keep posting bad things, you get banned. You can talk to a mod if you think the moderation is unfair, but they will usually be a smartass and won't listen to you. I was banned because I said to close a topic.

The rules are nearly impossible to follow, so don't botter with GameFUCKS.
The mods are nothing but nerds!
It starts out like this...

That was you typing "Gamefaqs" in your Internet address bar.

Saturday night, don't you have ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?!?!?!?

Course you don't, cuz you're a gamefaqs n00b...

You don't have a girlfriend or any friends.

the next part is hard to understand

Well, what the fuck?

You're laughing your ass off, but then you refresh the page...

What's THAT!? Is that a yellow strip?

IT'S A MODERATED MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya better check it! Ya gotta check it! Or you'll lose your precious karma, your precious karma, your precious karma, you'll lose your precious kaaaaaaaaaarrrrrmmmmmmma!

Gentlemen's Game

Any indoor or outdoor activity that exhibits an extreme amount of rules and etiquettes which at first seem to be counterintuitive but in reality, the only way it can be.
Golf is often considered a gentlemen's game - you've gotta have all these irons, drivers, and hybrids with all these accessories and your grass has to be so and so... all to see who can hit a ball into the hole first.

Game Informer

A magazine peddled by Gamestop to everyone that can't say no to their 10% off used game card offer. Most of the news tends to be outdated if you have an internet connection and the reviews tend to say "this game is awesome/sucks" by using as many words as possible. Useful for the pictures, sometimes interesting interviews, and the occasional exclusive. Has crushed the competition because of its unfair leverage as part of the Gamestop Empire.
Friend 1: Dude, did you see what they said in Game Informer about the new Halo?!
Friend 2: I already about read that a month ago on the internet.
Friend 1: Oh...

Friend 1: I have a Gamestop discount card! I also get a subscription to Game Informer.
Friend 2: Isn't that unfair to everyone else with a magazine that doesn't have a store tie-in?
Friend 1: I don't care, I just wanted that guy at the counter to shut up.

gamesmanship

To manipulate the truth using words and actions, with the intent of crafting the perception of others to your benefit.

It often has the appearance of, "playing dumb," or "bad luck".

It is not the individual occurrence that defines it, but the long-term pattern. "The truth is what I say it is."
Examples:

1. "Saying there is no such thing as 'emotional adultery' is just gamesmanship. You know you cannot have friends of the opposite sex without some kind of approval from me, as you would expect!"

2. "Your honor, it is gamesmanship for the State to deny my Work Comp, because they have failed to give me a legitimate hearing and they entertain a conflict of interest since it is there own money they are protecting."
