While their posts may appear relatable or well-meaning on the surface, the real motive is to stir emotional reactions, spark arguments, and gain attention to boost engagement and follower counts. Instead of fostering healing or awareness, trauma traps exploit sensitive topics to manipulate algorithms and grow their personal brand—often at the expense of genuine connection or collective understanding.
