A store so unique that it draws opinions from a bunch of consumers who have yet to come to the realization that as far as major corps go, their thoughts don't mean a fucking thing. Also, a target of mispelled, grammar-fucked critiques.

hot topic

An extremely overpriced store in which posers shop. Get this one thing straight... to be gothic is not to wear black or shit like most of you believe.Being gothic is to be different, to laugh at life, You can prefer the darker side, but if you take it seriously you are already full of shit.No two real goths are the same, and usually arent sad people wearing a shirt that says "Ill go cut myself" but are humorous and fun to be around.
Yes, I shop at hot topic.Define shop...I bought an eyebrow barbell there, and a T-shirt at one point. Its not worth making your life based on it though.

Tokio Hotel

Interational rock with insanely awesome hair and unique styles. The band includes, Bill Kaulitz lead singer and his twin brother Tom Kaulitz, the lead guitarist, Gustav Shafer as drummer and Georg Listing as basiest. The band founded in 2001 as the Kaulitz twins were only 11 years old after a live show in their hometown, Magdeburg Germany when Georg and Gustav watched The Kaulitzs perform on stage, although they knew each other from a music school that the Kaulitzs parents owned. Together they formed a band called, Devilish and performed in small concerts. in 2003, Bill Kaulitz participated in German Star Search, performing It's Raining Men, as a 13 year old and lost in quarter final, but was discovered by a music producer by the name of Peter Hoffman. Soon, the band changed their name from Devilish, to Tokio Hotel. "tokio" because they loved Toyko, Japan. And "hotel", because they seemed to always be in one. Sony BMG took over the contract and Hoffman hired David Jost and Pat Jenzer as creators and authors and gave the band instruction on music playing and song writing. Shortly before their first album, Song terminated their contract and Universal Music Group took them under contract and now the band is the most well knowned act in 20 years.

Their first album,
Schrei was released in 2005 on Septumber 19th and later won platinum certification. and recorded when the Kaulitz twins were only 13 to 15 years old. Thier first single, "Durch Den Monsun (Through the Monsoon)became number 15 on the Media Control single charts on the 200th of August, 2005 and the number 1 song on 26th of August ,2005 and number 1 on Austrian music charts. Their second single, Schrei (Scream) got number 5 on the German charts. The two songs were written by lead singer, Bill Kaulitz and the group producers Peter Hoffman, David Jost, Pat Benzer, and Dave Roth. in 2006, the 3rd and 4th single "Rette Mich" (Rescue Me) and "Der Letzte Tage" (The Finaly Day) reached number 1. "Der Letzte Tag" had a B-Sode called "Wir Sclieben Uns Ein" which had a music video as well as the others.

On their second album "Zimmer 483" (Room 483) was realeased January 28, 2007 with a deluze edition and a DVD. their first single on that album "Ubers Ende Der Welt" (which was re-released in English in the name of "Ready Set Go") and reached number 1 spot quickly. The second single "Spring Nicht" (Dont Jump) was realeased April 7th, 2007. A tour started, the Zimmer 483 tour, was schueled to start in March, 2007, but was delayed two weeks because the band wished to have a new stage. Their third single "An Deiner Seit (Ich Bin Da)" (By Your Side) was realsed the 16th of November, 2007 which included a B-side called "1000 Meere" (1000 Oceans) which had a music video too.

While they were the best German speaking band to ever live, they thought it would be col to start an English album containing a mix of German songs translated into English. Tokio Hotel released their first English speaking album 4 June 2007 in all of Europe. In Europe, the name of the English C.D was "Room 483" to go along with "Zimmer 483" The album had Ready Set Go (Ubers Ende Der Welt) , Scream (Schrei),Monsoon (Durch Den Monsun), By Your Side (An Deiner Seit Ich Bin Da), Don't Jump (Spring Nicht) 1000 Oceans (1000 Meere), Final Day ( Der Letzte Tag), On the Edge (Stich Ins Gluck), Break Away (Ich Brech Aus), Sacred (Helig), Love is Dead(Totgeliebt) Raise Your Hands (Wir Sind Eure Hande), Live Every Second ( however you spell the german version! forgotten children and more. The Scream album released in United States on May 6th, 2008.
Tokio Hotel had their first concert in United Kingdom on June 19th 2007 and "Ready Set Go" was released as the UK's first single on 27 of August 2007 and the song reached number 77 on the Singles Chart.

Tokio Hotel also won an EMA for Best Live Act on November 1st 2007 and were also nominated best band. They performed Monsoon at the event.

Their first U.S single was titled "Tokio Hotel" was released and included "Ready Set Go" and "Scream" and avaible at Hot Topic stores. Thier second U.S single was released on December 11th, 2007 (on my birthday!! i love you tokio hotel!!) and had the tracks "Ready Set Go", "Scream" and a remix of "Ready Set Go" by AFI's Jade Pudget. Febuary 2008, the band toured North America for five dates starting in Cananda and finishing in New York City. After appearing and performing on MuchMusic and touring in Cananda, "Ready Set Go" got in the Much On Demand Daily 10, a countdown of videos chosen by veiwers. It stood there for a week then returned to the top MOD DAily 10 on April 8, 2007. March 25th, 2008, Scream was released in Canada. Now after Bill's healed throat, has begun touring North America again with new tour dates.

They also had the "1000 Hotels Tour". A European Tour which begun on March 3rd, 2008 in Brussels and was scheduled to locations like the Netherlands , Luxemburg,France, Germany, Scandinnavia, Portugal, Italy and with an unexpected finish on April 8th, 2008. On March 14th, Bil started having vocal problems during a concert in Marseille, France. He let the audience sing more and instead of playing 21 songs they played 16 songs. Bill apologized in German for his bad singing and explained that he was sick.

The band canceled a concert in Lisbon, Portugal minutes before the show started due to his sickness. The audience was dissappointed for some were camping outside the arena for two weeks, although to them Bill's voice is more important. The rest of the 1000 Hotel tour was canceled and the North American Tour right after an anoucement by the band's manager in Bild, that Bill needed surgerey to remove a cyst in his vocal cords, which would risk his voice, his career and most importantly, dissappoint the fans of Tokio Hotel.

Bill was putting a strain on his voice after playing 43 shows in the 1000 Hotels tour without a break. He went through Larnx surgerey on March 30th, 2008 to remove the cyst. After the surgerey, Bill wasn't able to speak for 10 days, and took 3 weeks to heal completely. If Bill would of continued to sing without a break during the schueleled tour, his voice would of have been permenitly damaged. Once a whole two weeks of silence for Bill and two months of vocal rehabitlitation, Tokio Hotel started performing again in May , 2008.

Now the band is famous throughout the world and has their own web show on youtube called "Tokio Hotel TV" which has gained them lots of popularity. They have also have new concerts planned for North America and have been on U.S Television, like "Late Night with Conan O Brian, and on their release of their US album "Scream, on TRL. They have also planned to be on TRL for a total week starting August 4th, 2008 (cant wait!) and has gained popularity everywhere. Still, they are barely legal and were able to take over the world with their music.

Their U.S "Scream" album is avaible everywhere, but in Best Buy, Hot Topic, and ITunes, have their special version. Best Buy has a DVD that comes with it. Hot Topic has the "Raise Your Hands" track on it. And iTunes has their single "Black" on it.

my opinion

they are the best band to ever live!! for they are so young and barely legal, and mainly, "scandal-free" and they took over the world!

my opinion

this is the best band ever!!

some of this information came off of Wikipedia and myself =

Sticky Topic

You will find a ‘Sticky Topic’, generally called a ‘Sticky’, at the top of a message-board, usually containing pertinent information or Q&As to previously over-asked questions, for sake of keeping the board running relatively smoothly. On some-sites' boards, it is required that as a new user you read the Sticky rules by clicking into the Sticky Topic before posting, so as to dissuade spam posting and such. Note that there can be more than one Sticky Topic for any given board, though usually one alone covers all utmost essential info that need be said.

Also to note, the word ‘Sticky’(the more abundant form of the word ‘Sticky Topic’) can act as a past-tense verb or as a past-participle by adding a ‘'d’ to ‘Sticky’ (‘Sticky'd’). Usually transitive. Can also be a present-tense verb, appearing the same as its noun form (‘Sticky’). ‘Sticky Topic'd’ is not an actual word, but people would know what you meant if you used it.
GF User 1: Hmmm, you just answered all of main noob questions in one post.. Maybe you should petition\vote for it to be Sticky'd!! :^) Toget, toget. . .

GF User 2: Yeah, we should have atleast *one* Sticky Topic for such a large board, anyways. . .
