anti-snipe

Anit-snipe is an online auction rule that prevents a bidder from winning a last minute bid by extending the deadline for X amount of hours. The time is extended by the same amount every time there is a new bid. The last bidder to hold the bid for that extend increment of time wins the auction.

The anti-snipe is set at 12 hours. Hopefully no one places a bid until 12 hours is up.

bathroom sniping

When you're busy in the bathroom in the morning and leave for two seconds, only to find on your return that someone else has occupied the bathroom.

1. With 6 of us in the house and only 1 bathroom, we have multiple occurrences of bathroom sniping every morning.

2. "Dammit Jim! I'm sick of your bathroom sniping! I'm right in the middle of brushing my teeth."
