Rock & Roll Ralphs

The infamous Ralphs grocery store on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, California. Notorious for being packed around 2 to 3 AM after the clubs close, with drunken people trying to buy liquor for after-hours parties.

The scene of many alcohol-induced collapses and vomitings.

So named not only for it's late-night debauchery, but also it's proximity to Guitar Center, and the other music stores nearby on Sunset Blvd.

Wrote an essay called "Self Reliance", which stated that every man should decied for himslef what is right, and follow that, instead of following what the group says. "Whosoever is a man must be a non-conformist". A slang term meaning to puke, referencing the noises made whilst vomiting loudly and heavily, which may sound similiar to the names Huey (HEUGHHH) and Ralph (BRAAGPH) when yelled.

Used by Billy Connolly in his 'Two Scotsmen in Rome' bit.
