Sometimes referred to as "intelligent lights" but posses no intelligence at all. Fancy Lights can be LED color changing lights, moving lights, or anything that needs more than one channel of control.
Dance teacher to theatre tech: "Hey could we use those fancy lights for our dance recital?"
