Whether they were saved from themselves, or a tower with a dragon, or an abusive significant other some people just can't help falling in love with the person who saved them. But it can lead to a bad/toxic relationship if the saved party/savior becomes clingy, overbearing, bossy, pushy, possessive, etc.
