Someone with coppery/red/orange shade hair. Contrary to popular opinion many gingers can tan and do not always have freckles. Some are attractive, some aren't just like blondes and brunettes. A common insult for gingers is 'carrot top' however, this is ineffective because:

This only really qualifies for those who are naturally red-headed. Generally have pale skin and freckles, but can have other skin tones also. Gingers HAVE souls but it is humorous to joke that they do not. Boys are usually drawn to 'ginger' girls but the 'ginger' boys are ridiculed among peers.
