working man's phd

phd is short for post hole diggers. A tool used to dig a small round hole straight down into earth. The hole would then be used to place a fence pole or a sign post. Since a working man will never likely have a real PhD, This tool is a working man's phd. Borrowed from a song by country artist Aaron Tippon "working man's phd" where he sings about having pride for working hard for a living.

Don't forget to bring the phd today we need to set up two signs. I have my working man's phd in the back of the truck if we need it.

Working Man's Wedding Proposal

Occurs when a woman presents a man with a positive pregnancy test, and shortly thereafter, they are married. The wedding is usually performed without fanfare at a courthouse or VFW/Bingo hall by a justice of the peace.

Man 1: What's wrong?
Man 2: The girlfriend gave me a Working Man's Wedding Proposal last night. I gotta meet her at the courthouse during my lunch break today.
Man 1: Damn, that sucks.

When you are on an empty airplane and get an entire row to yourself.

The flight from Vegas to Chicago was half empty so I was upgraded to Working Man’s First Class. I got to spread out in the whole row by myself!
