Classic Instagram users were unhappy with the sudden influx and coined "Tikker" as a derogatory term (similar in tone to other slurs) to describe TikTok users. A Tikker is perceived as a dumb, brainrotted individual accustomed to TikTok's fast-paced, low-attention-span environment. The term is often used alongside Tiktard, another insult for TikTok users.
