A threat you can't prove exists, unsure it even exists, or know it doesn't exist but still use it anyhow.

If you disobey me and go out in the woods at night the Chupacabra will get you and eat you. (Chupacabra is the Blind Threat)

If you don't do what Zeus commands he'll hit you with a lightning bolt and send you to Hades! (Hades and Zeus hitting you with a lightning bolt are both Blind Threats)

The level of alcohol intake where you cross the point of no return and spend the evening 'goating around', self control is lost and a hangover is almost inevitable.

Anything after the goat threshold is the birthplace of "It seemed like a good idea at the time".

1. Once you pass the goat threshold there is no return, now hand me the beer funnel.
2. I'm so hung over today, I really crossed the goat threshold early yesterday.

Ash Threshold

A concept named after Ash Williams by the Youtuber "The Librarian". It is the point at which horror games lose the ability to scare players after the player was exposed enough to the game and it's contents. It is frequently crossed in the FNaF games, where after enough deaths, the animatronics become an annoying nuisance, than a terrifying enemy to look out for.

Guy 1: I can't keep playing man, this game is too scary.
Guy 2: Don't worry, it will reach the Ash Threshold soon enough and you'll be fine.

a Eugene who gets bullied and teased at school so they desperately craves attention they also get abused at home and they let out all their anger at school. so then they go to school and reach into their bags and start shooting. they are usually caught once their so called "friend" snitches on them because the school threat texted them saying "you seem nice, don't come to school tomorrow".

Friend: hey i got a text from Eugene saying to not come to school tomorrow.
Friend's Pal: woah man maybe you should talk to a teacher about that. He might be a school threat bc he is edgy and has dyed hair in dark clothes.
