The etiquette used when texting people, especially people you've just met or that just don't know you very well.

"Why do you have, like, 14 unread texts from Randy?" "He has horrible textiquette, every time I don't answer his first text right away he sends, like, a dozen more and starts freaking out."

Textiquette

A code that governs the expectations of social mobil texting behavior. Keeping in contact and responding in the same electronic communication form. IE: text/text, email/email, phone/phone, smoke signal/ smoke etc.

It was poor textiquette for Me to call Will directly after he had just texted me that there was surf. I should have texted him back and not broken the textiquette chain but, some times it takes so much longer to type then talk. M

Causing multiple fatalities through an idiotic preoccupation with texting.

Commiting mass texticide by having a flaming fatal car accident while texting "OMG!!! I"m about to die!!!" Mass texticide might be preceded by the following texts: "Seriously, I'm about to pull the ripcord!!" "Yeah, dude, I'm totally working right now. Nah, these chemical plants run themselves." "oh shit gotta go! ttyl"

"Robby responded with just the letter "k" ... he always has such improper textiquette. Now I'm not taking him to the softball game."

Macey is always such a great conversationalist. I think she used to take classes on textiquette.

textitute

One who obsessively sends text messages, especially to the opposite sex or someone who they are either involved or would like to be involved with. Also defined as one who sends a text in order to signal for a possible hookup, and often sent as a mass text to multiple numbers fishing for a taker.

Mary Anne is such a textitute for spending all of dinner texting Wally and Cecil instead of talking to her date Sid or friends Kelly Jo and Brenda Lee before the big dance at the hop.
