Def: the way lazy people type for IMs, texting, email, and other forms of cryptic writing

I just rather call it that because not everyone is 31337

I feel like no one respects the English language anymore, just by using internet shorthand like: omg, wtf, n00b, lol, srsly stfu, ttyl, etc.

Shorthand

Two definitions.

1. Used by literate writers in the real world for note taking, mostly at school or college. Usually just abbreviated forms of words, they also can use symbols or different pieces of text that symbolize longer parts of text. Usually shorthand is easier to be read by the writer, for all shorthand is unique to its user. Some abbreviate different things.

2. Used by illiterate noobs online. they speak with no grammar, and make no sense. They cannot seem to spell, and seem to randomly press keys.

1. Need to go to the stor to by food. An i need sum fud.

shortbonics

The new conversational phenomenon of removing several letters of a regular word, thus creating a new shortened version of the word.

Shortbonics is creating slang by shortening regular words. "Totally" becomes "totes". "Jealous" becomes "Jeal". For example:

Taylor: "Sandy said my calves look fat in these shoes."
Jessica: "Ugh, don't listen to her, she's just jeal."
Taylor: "Totes jeal."

Shortformy

A state of mind, or being, where you want to use short forms and acronyms for every single word. This can be attributed to 2 primary causes:
1. Sheer laziness
2. A desperate attempt by the speaker to sound "with it" and cool

A - "Lezeck out the speshat McD's, yo"
B - "You're unusually shortformy this morning!"

Spokane Shoehorn

A sexual maneuver involving the insertion of a gentleman's testes and scrotum into a lady's vagina during coitus. The maneuver can be accomplished manually or with the aid of a shoehorn, giving rise to the maneuver's name as well as the oft-quoted saying "sometimes you just have to shoehorn them in there."

Steve: "I gave her the ole Spokane Shoehorn last night!"

Ryan: "Ladies love a man with flexible balls. Have you tried the anal Spokane Shoehorn?"

Steve: "The Spokane Valley Shoehorn?! I thought that was a myth."

Ryan: "No, its real. My brother's friend's dad performed the first one in 1974."

Ha Shorthand

Ha shorthand is a method for conveying different discrete magnitudes of amusement or laughter. It is derived from haha, and can be communicated with only 3 characters.

1Ha == Ha
2Ha == Haha
3Ha ==Hahaha
Etc..

Pablo Escobar: Knock Knock.
El Chapo: Who’s there?
Pablo Escobar: Mustache.
El Chapo: Mustache who?
Pablo Escobar: I mustache you a question, but I’ll shave it for later.
