When ingredients are replaced with shittier ingredients. Usually as a cost-cutting measure to increase profits, similar to shrinkflation.

Shitflation has gotten so bad, my favorite ice cream is now 90% Palm Oil.

A situationship but worse, messier, low-effort, emotionally chaotic. Basically the Dollar Store version of a relationship. A vibe that leaves you felling drained instead of excited. It’s the kind of dynamic where you catch yourself thinking. “ Why am I even doing this?”
