Scrim

A thick, dark yellow to black in color, waxy textured film originating from food products containing dairy where such
residue has been sufficiently exposed to varyng amounts of heat, moisture, light, and biological waste flora allowing such residue to become teeming with bacteria and chemically transmogrified to form a highly toxic compound and potentially deadly funk.
Commonly found on common products such as Mayonnaise jars, can-opener blades, and pet food containers.

Scrim accounts for approximately 1200 deaths per annum, with toxicity levels having been found in rare cases to be rivaling military agents.
Starbucks and other such coffee houses have been models within the industry for their Anti-Scrim regimen denying scrim any foothold to form within the high risk dairy containers. Patented anti-scrim valves on all refrigerated dairy tanks and steam jets are major contributors.
