Recessionista

A person who evokes being affected by the recession because it's the 'in' thing to do, especially if they have no real need to. They may even pay more for the privilege of having just the right down-market accessories or habits. (Reference the evolution of the hipster.)
We're going to Mel's Diner tonight. The decor's a little shabby, you know with the recession and all, but they have the most fabulous oysters served in replica sardine tins.

Keira Knightly is such a recessionista -- check out this story about her renting shoes! http://www.starpulse.com/news/index.php/2009/03/25/keira_knightley_saves_money_buy_renting_

Post Hardon Depression

Not to be confused with "Post Pardum Depression" which is a serious medical condition requiring treatment, "Post Hardon Depression" generally passes on it's own. It occurs for a man, following sex when he is left with that feeling of ennui, so well expressed in the Peggy Lee song, "Is That All There Is?"
Seeing Farquar's long face, George asks, 'What happen...you look like your dog just died?' Farquar replies, 'No, nothing like that, I just had great sex with my girlfriend, but now have Post Hardon Depression.' George, replies, 'Oh man, I feel your pain.'

Post-Endgame Depression Syndrome

That despondent, can't get out of bed, don't want to watch another Marvel movie again, feeling you get after seeing Avengers: Endgame and knowing that the original Marvel Cinematic Universe Saga has come to an end.
I could barely wake up for work Friday morning after seeing the new Avengers movie. The Post-Endgame Depression Syndrome is really hitting me hard.

Post Anime Depression Syndrome

A feeling of depression experienced after finishing a series of anime. PADS for short.

Symptoms include constant thought of the anime, very deep insight, ignoring the people around you, and feeling drowsy.

Some causes:
Being too attached to the characters
Being able to relate to the anime (For example, high school focused anime)

When a person suffers from PADS, they usually long for the life they had to be like the anime, even though they know it will never become reality.
Person 1: Did you watch Angel Beats? Holy crap it was so sad...

Person 2: No, now what did you get on the test?

Person 1: *day dreams*

Person 2: You're suffering from Post Anime Depression Syndrome aren't you?

Depression

Depression is often taken lightly, which often just makes someone who is suffering from it feel worse

The true weight of depression

Depression removes all of your interest in what you used to love, you gain no enjoyment from anything, this makes you feel sad, as you remember the time when you could enjoy stuff

Music just makes you reflect on life, making you feel worse

You feel that any food is wasted on you, or you eat too much, because you don't care about appearance

You can laugh but, something is missing, laughing doesn't make you feel good

You tend to sleep inconsistently, in fact I'm writing this now-- at 4:00am, I'll probably wake up at 3:00pm, another day wasted

You don't feel like talking

You have no energy to do anything

You are often alone, wondering the meaning of life

You feel insignificant

The worst part of depression in my opinion is not knowing what caused it and not knowing if you will get better

If someone tells you that they have depression, you must take it seriously, they really need your help

People do care about you, no matter what you think

There is hope, for an entire week, I enjoyed everything I used to, I couldn't stop smiling, it was the best feeling in the world, and after feeling that, I know it is possible to kick depression and live life

And If you have depression, I hope that you will try to get better, its not a case of not getting better, you just have to try
Person 1: Hi, How are you?
Person 2: I'm... okay, you?
Person 1: I'm good, but I can't tell that you're not, is something up?
Person 2: Well recently... I've been suffering from depression...
Person 1: ah, ok it sounded like something awful happened, don't worry it will pass
Person 1: We all have bad days
Person 2: *leaves chat, feeling like no one cares, and that no one understands them*

Depression is not something people can just snap out of, it holds on to someone tightly and is difficult to break free from
When talking to someone with major depression, you should treat it as if they were terminally ill, its often not too different if they are without hope

Post Mass Effect Depression

Sometimes associated with the "Mass Effect effect", this feeling comes from the completion of the Mass Effect game series. Common causes include getting immersed so much in the game that after completion, you feel lost and/or empty, or realizing that the Mass Effect universe is so amazing compared to our own and you're pushed down by the fact that you'll never be a part of it.

To be less extreme, people may feel empty because they realize that no other game will ever be as immersive as the Mass Effect series, thus ending their gaming career forever.
A common outcome of Post Mass Effect Depression:

"No girl like Tali'Zorah nar Rayya exists in our world..."
